Two separate homes at one address. A seven-bedroom house that sleeps twelve, and a self-contained two-bedroom apartment with its own private entrance and its own kitchen. Take one, or take the whole property — and stop scattering your group across hotel rooms.

One person on a ten-week contract, or a crew of sixteen. Move the slider and we’ll tell you which part of the property fits.
We’d put you in
Seven bedrooms, five and a half baths, two full kitchens and parking for eight. One invoice, one point of contact.
See the HouseTwo homes, three ways to book
The House and The Den are genuinely separate homes — different doors, different kitchens, no shared corridor. That means you can book one without the other, or take both and have the whole site to yourself. Most enquiries land in one of these three shapes.
7 bed · 5.5 bath · sleeps 12
The main residence over two floors, with two entirely separate full kitchens so a night crew and a day crew never collide over a stove. Parking for eight. Formal dining room, 70" TV, laundry, reclining seating, and free parking for eight cars on the driveway.
2 bed · 1 bath · sleeps 4
A complete apartment: private entrance, living room, full kitchen, bathroom, laundry in the unit, air conditioning and soundproofed ceilings — so a person on nights sleeps through a day going on above them. Dedicated workspace.
9 bed · 6.5 bath · sleeps 16
Both homes, one booking, one invoice, nobody else on site — and you choose whether they are joined or not. A fire-rated door off the House kitchen opens onto an internal stair down to the Den, so sixteen people can live as one connected nine-bedroom home. Keep it locked instead and you have two entirely separate residences.
The House
Most places in Gander can take a couple or a small family. Very few can take twelve people who need to live somewhere for two months — cook properly, do laundry, work, and stay out of each other's way on a day off.
Two entirely separate full kitchens is the detail that matters most and the one nobody expects. A crew on nights and a crew on days are not competing for a stove at seven in the morning, and a group of twelve is not queuing for one kettle.
The Bennett Den
A fully renovated two-bedroom apartment on the lower level that shares an address with the House and nothing else. Its own entrance, its own kitchen, its own thermostat. You can arrive at two in the morning without walking through anyone's living room.
The sound isolation was not an afterthought, and it was not guesswork. Insulated ceilings, a dense runner on the stairs above to stop footfall at the source, and a barrier on the stairwell that was carrying the vibration down past everything else. If you are placing someone who works nights — a nurse, an air traffic controller, a shift technician — the difference between sleeping and not sleeping is the whole placement, and it is the reason this unit has 87 reviews at 4.8.
It is a complete home rather than a set of rooms: a proper living room with two full sofas, its own kitchen, its own bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a washer and dryer inside the unit. Nobody has to carry laundry anywhere or share a sofa with strangers.
It is also the sensible answer when you have one person to house, not nine. A seven-bedroom house is the wrong shape and the wrong price for a single locum on a ten-week contract.
And when a booking does need everything, the two homes join: a fire-rated door off the House kitchen opens onto an internal stair down into the Den. Locked, they are separate addresses in all but name. Open, they are one nine-bedroom home where nobody has to step outside in November to reach their room.
Ask about the Den

Shared grounds
A hot tub, eight covered seating areas and a fire pit — rebuilt this year, and deliberately designed to still work in October, November and December rather than only in July.
This matters more than it sounds like it does. Somebody here for a ten‑week rotation is not on holiday. They finish a shift in the dark, in the wet, and the difference between a good placement and a miserable one is whether there is somewhere to sit outside and stop thinking about work.
Covered outdoor space that works through a Newfoundland autumn is unusual here, and it is a large part of why people finish the contract rather than asking to be moved.

Who stays here
If you place staff, crew or contractors in central Newfoundland, you are the person these homes are for. Tell us the dates and the headcount, and you will get a rate the same day.
Film, theatre & production
Whole companies housed together for the length of a run or a shoot. We have just completed a four-month placement for a professional theatre company working in Gander.
Usually the House, or the whole property
Healthcare
Four to thirteen week assignments at the regional health centre. Soundproofed ceilings, a real kitchen, laundry and a private door — built for people who sleep during the day.
Usually the Den
Aviation
Minutes from Gander International. Rotational crews, inspectors, trainees and contractors on multi-week postings, billed monthly.
Either — one person or a whole rotation
Trades & projects
Beds, laundry, somewhere to eat together and parking for eight vehicles, on one invoice, for the length of the job. Take the House, or take everything.
Usually the House
Track record
Through the summer and into September 2026 this property was home to the company of a professional theatre production running in Gander — a four‑month placement, start to finish, for people who had every other option in town.
That is the thing worth knowing about us. Anyone can host a weekend. Housing the same group for sixteen weeks without it becoming somebody's problem is a different job, and it is the one we do.
The guest book
We are not going to list every review. These are the ones we keep coming back to — including one that told us something we needed to hear.
Brittany · April · brought a volleyball team
“Our volleyball team had a lovely stay! We really enjoyed getting to stay all together while travelling and felt right at home.”
A whole team in one house instead of scattered across three hotels. This is the entire reason we run the place the way we do, and Brittany said it better than we ever have.
Lisa · May · brought a group of ten
“Lots of room for our group of 10. Beds were very comfy, the house was very clean and Danielle responded right away to my messages.”
Ten people is a proper test of a house. That clean and comfortable were the two words Lisa reached for means a great deal.
Bernice · July · stayed in the Den
“Excellent appliances, beautiful bathroom features, great laundry, comfy bedrooms with desks, tasteful decor. I’ve never stayed in a classier basement suite.”
Bernice also said plainly that it isn’t the place for anyone who needs a lot of natural light or has mobility difficulties. She was right, and we now say so in the listing ourselves rather than letting people find out on arrival.
Laurie · July · stayed in the Den
“Fully equipped for self catering, roomy and comfortable. Danielle greeted us when we first arrived, which was a nice touch.”
Meeting people at the door is the easiest part of this job and the part we would never give up.
Barbara · August · stayed in the Den
“Danielle’s place was perfect for what we needed. Somewhere to relax and make a cup of tea.”
Somewhere to relax and make a cup of tea might be the best description of this place anyone has written, and we did not write it.
Eleanor · March, April and May · Corner Brook
“Highly recommended.” “Great accommodations.” “Great place and hosts are very responsive.”
Three short reviews from three separate stays. Eleanor keeps coming back, which is the only review that really counts.
Every review, including the ones that told us what to fix, is on Airbnb for the House and the Den. We read all of them.
Rates & terms
We quote weekly and monthly, not nightly. The longer the placement, the lower the effective rate — a home held for a month is worth more to us than a month of turnovers, and the price reflects that.
Tell us your dates and headcount and we will come back with a number, not a brochure.

There is no booking department. You will be dealing with the people who own the property, which is why the answer to "can you take nine people from the sixth of October" arrives the same afternoon.
